While we support thousands of banks, credit unions, and credit card and loan providers, it’s hard to support everyone. Let us know at support@varomoney.com the bank you want to link to, and we'll do our best to make it happen!
In the meantime, you can link your account using the routing and account information. Here’s how to verify your account:
- Log into the Varo Bank app
- Go to Settings > External Accounts > Link an account
- Select Manual Verification
- You will see an overview of the manual account linking process. Tap Get Started and enter the following information:
- Account type (checking or savings)
- Account number
- Routing number
- Click Continue. If successful, you will see the name of the bank displayed at the bottom of the page. Click Submit.
The next phase of manually linking may take 1-3 business days as Varo Bank will send two small deposits to your external bank account. To verify those deposits and complete the account link, do the following:
- Check your external account for the two small deposits (again, your external account should receive the deposits within 1-3 business days)
- Once the deposits have been received and you know the amounts, log into the Varo Bank app
- At the bottom of the My Accounts page, tap View External Accounts
- Tap on the unverified account
- Tap Verify Account and enter the first and second deposit amounts that were sent to your external account
- Tap Submit
- You’ll know you have successfully linked to the account when it appears on the External Accounts page
