Yes! Once you receive and activate your new contactless Varo Bank Visa® Debit Card and download the Varo Bank app, you’ll have a new bank account, including a new account number and routing number, and your existing bank account will be closed. In the meantime, keep using your existing app and debit card. You’ll continue to have access to your money and direct deposit, and your old Varo app and account will stay active until you receive and activate your new debit card and download the Varo Bank app in the Apple App Store or Google Play App Store. Once you have the new app downloaded and your new card activated, your account info will transfer automatically.
